Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy is an experience though stories and listening. Narrative therapy teaches us that people can have the same experience yet different realities of the situation such as an argument or disagreement with a loved one understanding it was a fight but one believes it was disrespectful the other was protecting themselves. Narrative therapy gives you the space to explore your experience while externalizing and deconstructing your experiences.

How Can Narrative Therapy help me?

Deconstruction: Breaking down meaning in language to better grasp an understanding.

Understanding Context: What values and morals others may hold different from yours.

Externalization: Separating the behaviour or the feeling from the person.

Story Telling: Looking at a event from an objective lens without blaming language.
