Addiction

Addiction: The feeling of not being yourself or being stuck? Knowing your behaviours and actions are not right, but cannot stop. Seeing the benefits of stopping, but your mind and body continues? That is what most people believe and see addiction, but addiction can be as simple as a sensation, such as winning with the feeling of euphoria. There are various forms of addiction that can overcome one’s life and a loved one such as,

Substance Addiction: The dependency of drugs or alcohol to progress throughout one’s day.

Technology addiction: Excessive scrolling on social media, watching TV, playing video games that interfere with essential parts of life.

Food Addiction: The overconsumption of food and beverages that lead to unhealthy habits.

Work Addiction: A feeling of fixation towards work that interrupts personal, social, relational and other facets of life
