Men: Therapy has been looked in a negative light for men, but in recent times therapy specialized for men has come out and men’s health have been on the up climb. Men’s mental health has been an uphill battle and continues to be a point of not only external conflict but internal disruption. Men struggle similarly to women, child and other individuals, but with reasons stopping them from achieving their full potential such as,

Male Culture: The idea of having to be strong and take on the problems of one’s partner, loved one’s and friends come first.

Environmental Development: Being shaped from a young age to understand what it is to be a “man.”

Emasculated Male: The feeling of being ashamed and embarrassed of traits one processes and the feeling of needing to prove and be more.

Overachieving: The impact of success tied to a man’s worth and within status one is a failure.

Expressing: Trouble opening up to loved one’s and friends about
