Anxiety

Anxiety: The feeling that won’t go away, the thought that is constantly reminding you, the belief that something is going to happen. All of that and more are functions of anxiety that several people have developed throughout time and can be crippling and punishing, but anxiety does not always have to be negative such as waiting for a pay raise and how much to receive. Anxiety can stem from a copious amount of issues and various types of anxiety such as

Social Anxiety Disorder: A level of fear and discomfort in social events and interactions in a large group of people.

Traumatic events: past experiences that trigger thoughts and feelings to reinforce levels of anxiety

Generalized Anxiety Disorder: Excessive worrying and fears about all events and interactions during one’s day.

Panic Disorder: A high level of panic and distress brought on with physical and emotional distress and effects.

Quote: Anxiety is like having a weighted vest on you at all times: heavy, unable to move, hard to breathe and easier to not move. – Nigel Edokpolo
